Mahakarya Institute of The Arts is Brunei’s first dedicated arts institution. The mission of Mahakarya Institute of the Arts Asia is to develop the next generation of content creators and ensure their skills and intellectual property are protected and contribute in a meaningful way to Bruneian society, its economy and ASEAN as a whole by providing an educational platform for dialogue and constructive collaboration.

How long is the Certificate III in Screen and Media?
The Certificate III program is one year program followed up optional
progression to the Diploma program
How long is the Diploma in Screen and Media?
The Diploma in Screen and Media program is two year program. This may be followed by a two year to Bachelors program in any Australian university
What are the course fees?
The Certificate Program is $8000.00 for 1 year and $1000 Administration fee. We offer monthly payment plan of $667 per month or $2667.00 per Semester
The Diploma Program is $13,234.00 per year and $1000 Administration fee. We offer monthly payment plan of $1103 per month or $6617 per Semester
Do students have to purchase their own equipment?
Mahakarya Institute of the Arts Asia provides industry standard equipment for student productions. The Institute only requires all students to bring their own laptop for the institute to install all software. This is so that when the students leave the institute, they can continue to offer their services to employers.
What are the class schedules?
The classes for the Diploma program run on Monday to Thurday from 1pm to 6pm.
What happens after film school?
Students have the option to join a production company, corporate media department, PR and Marketing departments in corporate and government agencies. Some students may also choose to set up their own production companies.
Is the course offered part time or full time?
All courses offered are full time.
