ANNOUNCEMENT ON HECAS 2023 (2ND ROUND) APPLICATION 

(Tuesday, 21 Muharram 1445H / 08 August 2023M) 

BERAKAS – HECAS 2023 (2nd Round) online application to local Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), i.e. Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) and Politeknik Brunei (PB) for the 2023/2024 academic year will commence on Wednesday, 09 August 2023 at 9:00 a.m. and will be closed on Tuesday, 12 September 2023 at 3:00 p.m.  The programme levels offered are Level 5 Diploma, Higher National Diploma and First Degree programmes. 

 

The HECAS online application is opened for holders of valid Brunei Darussalam issued identity cards i.e. yellow, purple or green. HECAS does not process applications of government servants applying for in-service training or foreign applicants who do not have valid Brunei Darussalam issued IC. Applicants can use their predicted results to apply to local universities (UBD and UNISSA). Successful applicants will receive a conditional offer upon meeting the entry requirement set by the respective institution. 

 

Before the closing date of HECAS, applicants are required to: 

 

  1. 1. Settle overdue payments upon HECAS registration through the BIBD Mobile Application or by cash at the payment counter located at Counter 8 (Cash and Revenue Unit), Ground Floor, Block C, One Stop Service Centre, Ministry of Education; and 
  1. 2. Fulfil requirements stated in the Institution Checklist.

PENGUMUMAN PENGAMBILAN PUSINGAN KEDUA HECAS 2023 

(Hari Selasa, 21 Muharram 1445H / 08 Ogos 2023M) 

 

BERAKAS – Pengambilan Pusingan Kedua HECAS 2023 secara dalam talian bagi kemasukan ke Institusi-Institusi Pengajian Tinggi Awam (IPTA) iaitu Universiti Brunei Darusslam (UBD), Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), dan Politeknik Brunei (PB) bagi tahun akademik 2023/2024 akan bermula pada Hari Rabu, 09hb Ogos 2023, jam 9.00 pagi dan akan ditutup pada Hari Selasa, 12hb September 2023, jam 3.00 petang. Kursus-kursus yang ditawarkan adalah di peringkat Ijazah Pertama, Diploma Tertinggi Kebangsaan dan Diploma Level 5. 

 

HECAS dibukakan kepada pemegang kad pintar Brunei Darussalam yang sah, iaitu kad pintar yang berwarna Kuning, Unggu atau Hijau. HECAS tidak memproses permohonan di bawah skim Latihan Dalam Perkhidmatan atau permohonan orang asing yang tidak mempunyai kad pintar yang tersebut di atas. Pemohon boleh memakai keputusan yang diramal (predicted results) untuk memohon ke IPTA (UBD dan UNISSA). Pemohon yang berjaya akan diberi tawaran bersyarat (conditional offer) oleh institusi berkenaan. 

 

Sebelum tarikh tutup HECAS, pemohon adalah dikehendaki untuk: 

 

  1. 1. Membuat pembayaran tertunggak melalui BIBD Mobile Application atau secara tunai di Kaunter 8 (Unit Tunai dan Hasil), Blok C, Tingkat Bawah, Pusat Perkhidmatan Setempat, Kementerian Pendidikan;  
  1. 2. Memenuhi syarat-syarat yang dinyatakan dalam Institution Checklist. 

 

Bagi keterangan lanjut, sila layari laman sesawang Kementerian Pendidikan di www.moe.gov.bn atau laman sesawang HECAS yang baru di hecas.moe.gov.bn. Bagi sebarang pertanyaan, pemohon boleh berhubung terus dengan Pentadbiran HECAS melalui emel di ask.hecas@moe.gov.bn atau melalui nombor telefon 2381992/2381224 semasa waktu pejabat.
